2020 Taipet Arts Festival

Sci-fi novelist René Barjavel posits in Future Times Three: that if a person were to travel back in time - to a time before one’s parent was born - and kill one’s grandparent, one could deny the possibility of one’s existence. Yet, as one is still alive, it signifies the impossibility of ever killing one’s ancestor. Thus, the conundrum of deed and desire that forms “The Grandmother Paradox”.
